Fitonasal pediatric is a decongestant specially formulated to free the nose of the smallest in case of congestion and irritation of the nasal cavities due to flu syndromes, common cold, allergic rhinitis, and acute and chronic sinusitis. Fitonasal Pediatric works thanks to tannisal, a molecular complex composed of tannins and rock salt, which interacts with the nasal mucosa exerting:
a decongestant action, thanks to a balanced osmotic action that helps to eliminate water from the congested tissues, without irritating or drying the mucosa;
a protective action on the mucosa, thanks to the formation of a mucoadhesive layer and to the antioxidant action

In addition, thanks to its continuous flow spray, the product has a deep cleaning action on the nasal cavities: it eliminates excess mucus and pathogenic, irritating and allergenic agents trapped there (viruses, bacteria, smoke, smog, pollens, irritating substances, etc.). This action is particularly useful for infants who are unable to blow their nose and for children who do not blow their nose properly.
Thanks to its characteristics, fitonasal pediatric is indicated in the case of post-nasal drip that can cause coughing. In fact, the possible stagnation of mucus in the nasal cavities and the presence of micro-organisms and allergenic substances through the post-nasal drip can cause a cough or other problems such as sore throat and otitis media.
Fitonasal pediatric does not contain vasoconstrictor decongestants and, thanks to its non-pharmacological mechanism of action, it does not dry out the nasal mucosa or irritate.
